Grass-fed Beef

Beef Options

We generally have excellent quality beef steers on hand and ready for processing all year round. We offer halves, quarters, eighths, as well as whole beef. The quality of our USDA inspected grass-fed beef is some of the finest you will find anywhere.

One quarter (1/4) Beef

The size will vary with the particular beef, but will average between 160 and 200 pounds of hanging weight. (Note: hanging weight is the actual dry weight of the beef carcass before cutting, grinding and wrapping. The actual number of pounds you receive are ‘minus’ bone cut out and a certain amount of waste cut off the beef in processing). We usually ask that the processor leave the bone in, as that is where much of the flavor is, but you have that option.

Each mixed quarter will provide a variety of steaks (rib-eye, sirloin, tenderloin, T-bone, porterhouse and round), as well as roasts (chuck, prime rib, arm, rump), ribs, and soup-bones. The balance is ground beef. Other items to be shared with quarter holders would be tongue, heart, and ox tail as well as liver.

The price per pound of hanging weight is $3.38. You may call or email us to place an order. When the beef is ready our processor will call you directly for specific cutting instructions and answer any questions you may have. You may pick up your order in Swanville or St. Cloud. We will deliver upon request.*

One eighth (1/8) Beef

The size will vary with the particular beef, but will average between 80 and 100 pounds of hanging weight (see note above), and provide a nice variety of steaks and roasts, with the balance in ground beef.*

Twenty (20) pound variety pack

This is a mix of our most popular steaks such as rib-eye, sirloin, and T-bone; roasts; stew meat; a pkg. of ribs or brisket and the balance in lean ground beef. This pack is $99.*

Our variety packs are perfect for folks with limited storage space. They are also a great way to introduce you to our wonderful product.

Lean ground beef

While supplies last we have one pound packages at $4.25 pound. Our ground beef is made from steaks, roasts and other good cuts.

* There is a $50 deposit required for each order.

Note: 3% of all our beef sales go to the Salvation Army. (Our purpose is to provide a quality product, while also serving others in practical ways).
